A Journey Through Design

With roots in Buffalo, NY, over 25 years of creative life in Los Angeles, and inspiration from living in the French countryside, and near the Alpes, I offer a globally informed approach to design — shaped by decades of living in diverse homes and rentals, and rich in texture, history, and heart.

This unique journey across continents and cultures has taught me that every space has the potential to become a story worth living in. From the industrial charm of Buffalo to the creative energy of Los Angeles, and finally to the timeless beauty of France, each place has contributed to my understanding of what makes a space truly feel like home.

Today, I bring this rich tapestry of experiences to every project, whether it's styling a short term rental house in the French countryside, designing a modern room in the city, or helping fellow expats create their perfect sanctuary abroad.

Discover the rich professional journey that shapes every design decision

Amy has worked professionally in art & design forever. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she moved to Los Angeles after earning her BA in the Arts and built her career there. She now lives and works in both Buffalo, NY and France (Pays de Gex, near Geneva, Switzerland).

​

Amy has worked as a home decor designer, textile designer, costume designer, animation background color stylist/painter, illustrator, yoga teacher, and singer. This diverse creative background brings a unique multidisciplinary approach to every interior design project.

​

She trained in Vaastu Shastra with Sashikala Ananth, has advanced certification in Feng Shui from the American Feng Shui Institute, earned a Master of Science in 2019, and incorporates research and teaching skills into her design for well-being.

​

She completed interior design training with Jo Chobrak (Interior Designer's Business School, UK) and the Interior Designers Hub, and took commercial interior styling courses with Lucy Gough Stylist and Sophie Robinson. This comprehensive education ensures every project benefits from both artistic vision and professional expertise.
